Canvassing Happiness run 2 hour Children's Workshops (Junior Art Club)
fortnightly Saturday & Sunday 9.30-11.30 am
During Half term week we will have a temporary pop-up workshop (26th-31st October)
Located at 8-10 West Street (was Hengelo), Haslemere GU27 2AB
We will be displaying all our students work in a Gallery during this week. We would love you to join us!
On 7th November 2020 we move to our new address!
Humphreys Cafe, Camelsdale school, 9 School road, Haslemere GU27 3RN.
This is a great new open space which will support our need for social distancing and good COVID practise.
We aim to encourage our students to relax and enjoy art. We have helped many of them gain a great deal of confidence and independence in their work.
We can support our students through school and provide tips and guidance for GCSE and portfolio work.
We have also helped many students gain scholarships to secondary school education
We will be providing individual Introductory art equipment packs to adhere to COVID guidelines.
All other equipment provided on site: Canvasses, tools, easels and a comprehensive set of tutorial worksheets.
POP UP WORKSHOP AND GALLERY
We will be displaying a gallery of all our students work from the Lockdown period during Half term week at 8-10 West Street, Haslemere.
From there we will be running additional Halloween Pumpkin painting 1 hours 'Shop and Drop' fun educational sessions.
We will also host Half term Holiday Art Workshops.

My daughter has been attending these art classes for a year. Art is her greatest love and she loves these classes. Annushka is 6 and she absolutely adores this amazing creative space. Zoe managed to create the special place when children allowed to be children again!!! We do a lot of work for Charity.
Zoe is a member of the 'Haslemere Hogs, Hares and Hounds' - in aid of local charities.
We actively encourage our students to get involved in charity work. We have produced several collaborative pieces for the NHS during Lockdown. Please see below for details
We are preparing to start an after school club on Fridays from 5-7pm. Please register your interest by clicking on the contact links at the bottom of the page

During lockdown we continued to teach our classes on Zoom. We are fully prepared in case we need to return to Zoom again at any point over the winter months
In our on-site workshops we practise social distancing and follow the government guidelines within Educational settings
A collaborative piece made up of 25 canvasses individually painted by each of our Saturday Junior art club members gifted to St Lukes Cancer centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. It was a incredibly rewarding project that has inspired us to continue to create more public collaborative art for deserving causes.
Junior Art Club is a group of budding junior artists that have committed to joining us on a regular basis.
Saturday or Sunday fortnightly at 9.30am

We currently produce monthly packs with work sheets and the tools to accompany our workshops.
Some work is individual and some are collaborative pieces (that we will share online once completed)
We already have a lot more exciting art projects in the pipeline including a potential community collaborative piece.
We will be encouraging students to constantly update us with their progress.
We will be adding all works to our student gallery and regularly updating everyone on whats coming up soon.

Workshop Terms and Conditions
1. Booking policy
1.1. Art Club bookings are taken on a annual basis with payment taken monthly via standing order. A notice period of one full calendar month, following the month of notice is required for cancellation.
1.2 Art Club is run on a fornightly basis. Term dates are provided and are block booked. Dates of Art Club sessions that are held during school holidays are included in the annual booking (paid for on monthly basis). Annual membership guarantees student place.
1.4 Workshops can be booked on an ad hoc basis at £25/session. Payments must be made at the point of booking. Clients are advised to book early as places can not be guaranteed.
1.5 Workshops are non-refundable unless we can fill your space. You will not be entitled to a refund nor will we offer a transfer of your booking or provide a credit note unless the space is filled.
1.6. All our Courses have a minimum attendance level and may be cancelled if too few bookings are received.
1.6. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone workshops at any time.
2. The Course
2.1. Your place on the course is not confirmed and we have no obligation to you until full payment is received.
2.2. Most materials are included in the cost of Art Club, where we undertake craft activities or art projects that are outside the norm (eg T shirt designs as an eg), we will ask for a contribution to materials.
2.3. You must attend on a punctual basis unless prevented by events which are beyond your reasonable control. We are unable to delay start times for late arrivals, course begin at the time stated..
2.4. We are entitled to change the timing and/or content of any course and to substitute any teacher at any time.
3. Your Conduct
3.1. Disruptive behaviour: Abusive or inappropriate behaviour or language, threatening or disruptive behaviour towards staff or other students will result in you being removed from the workshop. Your payment will not be reimbursed in this event.
3.2 We are only responsible for students during workshop times.
4. Data and Promotion
4.1. No credit or debit card information will be held by Canvassing Happiness.
4.2. We will not sell your data to any third parties.
4.3 We reserve the right to take promotional photos, which will be used without identifying the child. Should you wish to opt out of this, please inform us via an email to email@example.com
